Text Box: Welcome to ECFE             Lakeview ECFE offers you a variety of activities:  *Classes designed for parents and children, ages birth until they enroll in kindergarten *Playtime for parents and children at an ECFE classroom *Special events for children and their parents   *A lending library with toys, books and parenting resources   A typical ECFE class: A.  The class begins with parent & child activities in the early childhood room. B. Parents then separate from their children for a discussion group led by a parent educator. C. While parents are in discussion, children continue with activities supervised by early childhood staff. I encourage you to register for classes as soon as possible.  Deadlines are also really important as they are the dates we use to determine if there are sufficient numbers to run the class.  Several of the classes fill quickly, and we don’t want you or your child to be disappointed.  Remember that parents accompany their child for all ECFE classes.  Write the dates on your calendars as, in most cases, reminders will not be sent out.  I want to welcome you to ECFE!  I hope that you will be able to find a class that meets your child’s needs as well as your needs as a parent.
