Join Mrs. Rosa to create your own unique Gingerbread House or Gingerbread Tree.  Please send with your child a bag/container of decorations (lifesavers, red hots, M&M’s, sprinkles, coconut…anything to decorate a gingerbread house)  The rest of the supplies will be furnished.  The students should bring a snack or money to purchase a snack.  To make sure your project is safe on your ride home, please bring or send an ice cream pail or small box.

 

Snowmobile Safety

Training Course

 

Marshall Community Services and Southwest Ridgerunners Snowmobile Club are holding a Snowmobile Safety Training Course on Tuesday, December 9 from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm AND Saturday, December 13 from 8:00 am-3:00 pm at the Marshall Middle School.  The cost of this class is $10.00.  Class participants must be 12 years of age during snow season! 

 

Upon completion of the course, the student will earn an approved State of Minnesota snowmobile operator’s certificate from the DNR.  For more information or to register, contact Marshall Community Services at 507-537-6767.  Deadline to register with Marshall is Wednesday, December 3rd.

This class will extend your creative talents!  You will have the opportunity to explore a variety of art mediums.  Mrs. Schueler will provide the supplies and students will create projects. The students should bring a snack or money to purchase a snack.

Join us for a fun plastic canvas class.  We will be making easy Holiday Ornaments for yourself, or to give as a gift.  You will also receive a Holiday Ornament from Teresa!  The students should bring a snack or money to purchase a snack. 

 

 

SANTA’S WORKSHOP

AGES: 3 years through second grade (3 & 4 year olds need to have an adult attend.)

Come to Santa’s Workshop and make special presents for your family.  We will make gifts and wrap them, play reindeer games and eat a snack.  Santa’s Workshop #1 and #2 will have the same activities.  Register early, we have a limited class size.  The students should bring a snack or money to purchase a snack.

 

 

Early Out Wednesdays

An instructor/supervisor will be available at the school until 5:40 pm.  Activities may include: board games, arts & crafts, gym activities, enrichment opportunities, etc.  (You may pick your child up anytime before 5:40 pm as this is not a typically structured class)

Get ready for babysitting this year!  The Super Sitter clinic is a great opportunity for both girls and boys…because babysitting is not a job to be taken lightly!  The clinic will promote safe, sensitive care for children and the best possible babysitting experience for sitters.  Through hands-on experiences, students will develop skills for providing care, entertaining, and handling emergencies.  You will also get a great start on a babysitting kit to use “on the job”.  The students should bring a snack or money to purchase a snack.

Come join the fun at the Lakeview Elementary Drama Club program!  Your child will participate in activities that will enhance their creativity, strengthen their self-esteem, and broaden their love of theater.   The students should bring a snack or money to purchase a snack.

 

 

 

OPEN GYM

 

Open Gym will begin the 1st week-end in January and will be scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays through February if attendance and interest continues through that time.  There will be some Saturday cancellations for LBA tournaments.  Those dates will be posted when we receive them.
