I started teaching at Lakeview in 2013.
I grew up outside of Hanley Falls and graduated from YME High School, so I am very grateful to be working in my home area. I earned my bachelor's degrees from St. Olaf in Norwegian and Political Science. After graduating, I moved home and enrolled in teaching courses at SMSU. I finished my student teaching in December 2012. During the spring of 2013 I got married, started substitute teaching, and coached. Finally, this position at Lakeview opened up, and I found my dream job. In 2019 my husband Daryl and I had our first daughter, Ebba Jean, and in 2021 we are expecting our second child in March!
I love teaching; it is my passion and my calling. I have always been interested in the social sciences, and I am so glad to be teaching here.
If there are any concerns or questions you have for me throughout the year, please contact me via my school email or phone. Go Lakers!
