School Board

School Board 2024

Lakeview Board
Lakeview Public Schools is governed by a seven-member School Board elected at-large by district residents. Board members serve four-year terms and are elected during the November General Election on even years.   The Board of Education is responsible for setting the direction of the district by establishing district policies, approving an annual budget and tax levy, and hiring the superintendent.

Board Meetings
All board meetings are open to the public. A list of agenda items for each work session, regular meeting, and special board meeting is available prior to the meeting.

Communication with the Board
We believe that communication and understanding among all stakeholders is essential to meeting our vision. For families, in most situations, questions and/or concerns regarding your student are best and most quickly addressed by communicating with your student's teacher or school principal. For staff, concerns and questions should be addressed by communicating with your direct supervisor. Please note, Board of Education members may redirect individuals who contact them to follow this chain of communication.
