The Lakeview School Community of 4 year olds through grade six are participating in the 12th annual One School, One Book event starting on February 1st. This Read to Them event encourages a community of readers. Thanks to the Lakeview PTO and Booster Club, every family and staff member receives a copy of the same book. Families are highly encouraged to read assigned chapters together throughout the month of February. Book questions are discussed daily in classrooms. This event provides a great opportunity to connect school and home. It has been a long standing Lakeview Elementary tradition during February’s I Love to Read Month.
Celebrate the importance of reading by participating in dress up week.
